Wafid is a medical check-up program run under the Gulf Health Council. If you’re planning to work or live in a GCC country, you need to book this appointment to confirm you’re medically fit before you travel.

Yes — Wafid is the current name for the same medical screening system that was previously known as GAMCA (Gulf Approved Medical Centers Association). It’s operated under the Gulf Health Council, so “Wafid medical” and “GAMCA medical” refer to the same mandatory pre-visa health check for GCC-bound workers and residents.

The official government fee is $10. We charge Rs. 4,000 total, which includes the $10 fee plus our service charge for booking the appointment on your behalf.

No. Once you select your city and country, the medical center is assigned automatically — you can’t pick a specific one.

Go to the Wafid Medical Examination Result page. Enter either your passport number and nationality, or your Wafid slip number, then click “Check” to see your report.

Results are usually available within 3–5 working days after your medical examination. Your status will show as FIT, UNFIT, or PENDING — if it’s PENDING, additional tests may be required and you’ll need to revisit the medical center.

Your Wafid (GAMCA) medical report — whether fit or unfit — stays valid for 60 days from the day your result is announced.
